Do I need to bring my own bed linen or sleeping bag?
Now a day, almost all hostels do not encourage for their guests to bring their own linen or sleeping bags, as they could bring on them bugs, and/or dirt from outside. Also, most hostels do issue (provide) clean linen and often blankets free of charge to the guests, although some do charge for this particular service, though it's not very expensive.
Basically, the best way is to check the hostel's microsite before traveling.
What is the difference between a Private and a Shared Room?
Shared Rooms are dormitory style, and vary in size, from four beds and up. Each hostel offers mixed or Co-Ed accommodation,
unless an alternative arrangement has been made in advance with the hostel. Certain hostels do allow for same-sex dorms.
If this is the case, it will be indicated on the hostel's microsite(private site).
Though the majority of hostels do not impose a restriction on guests, such as due to their age, this isn't always so,
particularly in establishments, which have a bar, located on their premises. Again, it is recommended that you check the hostel's microsite
(private site) to figure out whether or not there's an age limit.
